How to Use

The CanUFight calculator works best when you enter information as truthfully and accurately as possible.

To understand each field's meaning and impact on your final score, visit the Methodology page.

The tool estimates how you might stack up against the global population in a fair, one-on-one, unarmed fight, by using statistics, physiology data, and a bit of common sense.

Step 1: Enter Your Basics

Fill in your age, sex, height, and weight. These measurements set your baseline physical profile. The calculator compares your stats against global averages.

Step 2: Add Your Activity Level

Choose the option that best matches your general activity level. An activity session is defined by the CDC as "vigorous physical activity lasting 10 minutes or more".

And be honest! Overestimating yourself might feel good, but it won’t provide an accurate result.

Step 3: Add Martial Arts & Training Experience

This is the single biggest factor in the calculation. Even one year of real training in striking or grappling (boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, BJJ, judo, etc.) makes a huge difference. Real technique beats size alone, so choose your experience levels carefully.

Step 4: Hit Calculate

The calculator runs its algorithm and shows your percentile - the estimated percentage of the global population you could likely defeat in a neutral, hand-to-hand fight. For fun, you’ll also see a rank title, a graph, and some pop culture matchups.

Step 5: Interpret Your Results

Treat the result as entertainment, not destiny. The percentages try to remain grounded in realistic physical data, but no calculator can measure willpower, adrenaline, or fight IQ. Use it as a reality check, not a reason to start fights at the gym.

Tips for the Most Accurate Result

The more accurate your inputs, the more realistic (and sometimes humbling) your output. Whether you're an “Average Joe” or a “Worldbeater,” take it in stride - it’s all part of the fun.

Disclaimer: This tool is for entertainment purposes only. Results are broad estimations that tend to favor trained martial artists and larger or more athletic individuals. They should not be interpreted as predictions of real outcomes or used as encouragement to engage in violence. This tool does not collect any data.
